Why our Boss Gal has been MIA!

Chloe Di Betta

My Name is Chloe and I am the Founder and Designer of Coco Lou. Its been a while since I have been behind the keyboard talking to you and in doing so I would like to thank you all for your support, as well as my amazing team. Coco Lou would not be possible without you!

I have been MIA for a while now as I have been going through some personal issues that really took my attention away from Coco Lou and onto myself and how I was feeling after going through I rough 2018 BUT I'm Back!!

Mental Health has always been something that I have personally struggled with for quite some time and I know a lot of people do as well. Whether it be the pressures that society has place on us, something happened that shakes your world upside down, you lose someone who you loved so dearly or you are just really not having a good day, week, month or even year.

Mental Illness affects 1 in 5 Australians aged 16-85, almost HALF (45%) Australians will experience a mental illness in their lifetime AND 54% of them won't seek treatment for their mental illness. Reference

These are the facts!! but what can we do as people who suffer or see our loved ones suffering.... reach out to people you trust, be there for people who you think or know are having a rough time, ask how they are going and genuinely mean it and be that shoulder to cry on or ear to listen when they do want to speak.

I know that as someone who has hit rock bottom and only now trying to rebuild her life its not easy to ask for help or to answer 'Are you Okay?" with honesty because of fear of being a burden to your friends and family but Know that I get it, I've been there and ill probably be there again and our team are here to support you,YOU'VE GOT THIS GIRL!!

And if you feel like you are alone, please don't hesitate to flick me a email or send a DM and we will have a chat.

SO. as we are approaching April, I have put a 30% Discount Code up for all our Subscribers - 'WITHLOVE'

AND. $1 from every purchase will go to https://livin.org in the fight to break the stigma of Mental Health!

Love Always
